QUIPMENT DESCRIPTIONS

 

Armor

Lightweight and strong, these armors are constructed of woven fibers derived from spider silk. Heavier armors add extra layers of silk and metal plates. Unless otherwise noted, the armor protection and encumbrance penalties assume full body coverage. The encumbrance penalties are subtracted from REF based skill rolls or spellcasting rolls.

Thickest armor available, this model is top of the line. It includes a chain mesh layer for added piercing protection. Overlapping coverage protects the knees, elbows, and neck. An integrated environmental face mask is optional.

 

These suits are very hot and uncomfortable. Optional enhancements can be purchased that keep the suit cool, and remove sweat and other fluids.
