A

s the British and Americans gathered for a battle in New Orleans, an elder god rose from the depths of the Caribbean. Asleep for 65 million years, it was time to feed again.

This time around a small, secretive group of people were huddled in a darkened New Orleans warehouse. Armed with prophecy and dark rituals recently uncovered, they prepared for the real battle. A few people are no match for a god, but if you time it right and focus the fear of millions of people then maybe, just maybe, you'll have a chance.

Suffice to say they were successful, otherwise reading past this paragraph would be pointless. But that is not what this is about. What is important is what happened after. With a new awareness, new knowledge that wasn't so secret anymore, and the body of an ancient colossus clogging up the harbor, the world started changing fast.

ndustrious Sorcery is a skill based fantasy role playing game set in the 19th century. Yes, we have steam engines, and yes we have airships. We also have sorcery, mainframe computers, and alien beasties running about. Heck, I'll even throw in a vampire or two.

T

hese rules were written for a fantasy setting mixing magic and machines, but the rules can be adapted to other genres. Mostly that is due to the D6 system, which balances complexity and playability better than most systems I've tried. It lends itself well to multi-genre gaming. The D6 rules were created by West End Games and come in a few different varieties. The D6 System and Legend System rules are copyright D6Legend Inc. The D6 System, Legend System, WEG, and West End Games are trademarks of D6Legend Inc.

This version of the site is in its infancy. Check back now and then. I will hopefully have it updated regularly. If you are a returning visitor and wonder where the old site went, click on the Age of Enlightnement Classic link up there.
