Polymorph

Change the form of a creature or object. At the base difficulty, basic and mostly cosmetic changes can be made. At higher difficulty levels more radical changes can be made, for longer periods of time. Changes are more or less permanent, requiring another polymorph spell to change back to the original form. When altering a creature or object, the caster needs to have some knowledge of the form they're changing it to, or nasty side effects may result.
 

Sample Effect Difficulties

More radical changes, such as wings, other appendages, different form.

Change the subject into another creature or thing entirely, but only with the physical abilities.

30  

Subject becomes the thing they are transformed into, down to the fiber of their being, including magical abilities. (Strong magical abilities may push the DC +5 to +10 points higher)

 

Telekinesis

Lift or push items without touching them. Smaller objects may be manipulated as if they were in the character's hand (but the character can't actually feel the item.)

Enchant Weapon

Gives a +1 per DL bonus to a weapon's attack and damage.

Fly

Allows one medium sized creature to fly and maneuver naturally.
 

Repair

Mend a broken item or repair a piece of equipment. At base difficulty a caster can mend breaks, tears, blemishes in medium sized objects. Mending larger scale objects increases the difficulty 5pts for each 1D in scale. Mending magic items in such a fashion as to maintain their properties adds +5 to +15 to the difficulty. At base difficulty the caster can also repair a simple mechanical device, even larger devices, as long as the part needing repair is small (scale -1D).

Shield

Creates a field of force around the subject that provides an additional +1 per DL (min +2) armor protection.

+2 per DL (min 2D+2) protection for four minutes.

+1D per DL (min 6D) for six minutes.

Unlocks a simple lock or opens a stuck door. Can temporarily open a magically barred door. The DC in such a situation is the original enchantment DC - 5. (To permanently undo a magical barrier, use Dispel Magic.)
